The most anticipated nordic music event of the year has finally arrived! The meldofestivalen kicked off with a mind blowing show in Vaxjo four weeks ago. The show travelled though main Swedish Cities until Last Sunday, as the show in Malmo drew an end to the Semi-Finals. Now that the four heats are over, the next city to host the Melodifestivalen is Nykoping, Sodermanland County for the, Second Chance round. In this round, those who obtained third and fourth place in the previous four heats will compete headto head in a duel format competition, out of which only two of the original eight qualifiers will make it to the Final in the renound Ericcson Globe in Sweden's Capital, Stockholm. In light of the closure of the Heats, I have compiled eight of my favourite songs, all of which I had wished to see move on unquestioned to the final. Unfortunately, for most of these songs, this was not to be, however, I invite you to sit back and enjoy the fenominon which is Swedish Music!
