Dekliški zbor sv. Stanislava/ St. Stanislav's Girls' Choir Ljubljana: Kralj
Zborov zadnji in največji ...

97th Year of the Armenian Genocide

97th Year of the Armenian Genocide
The Armenian Genocide (Armenian: Հայոց Õ'Õ¥Õ²Õ¡Õ½ÕºÕ¡Õ¶Õ¸Ö‚Õ©ÕµÕ¸Ö‚Õ¶, also known as the Armenian Holocaust, the Armenian Massacres and, by Armenians, as the Great Crime (Õ„Õ¥Õ® ÔµÕ²Õ¥Õ¼Õ¶, was the systematic killing of the Armenian population of the Ottoman Empire during and just after World War I. It was implemented through wholesale massacres and deportations, with the deportations consisting of forced marches under conditions designed to lead to the death of the deportees. The total number of resulting Armenian deaths is generally held to have been between 1 million and 1.5 million. Other ethnic groups were similarly attacked by the Ottoman Empire during this period, including Assyrians and Greeks, and some scholars consider those events to be part of the same policy of extermination. It is widely acknowledged to have been one of the first modern genocides,as scholars point to the organized manner in which the killings were carried out to eliminate the Armenians, and! it is the second most-studied case of genocide after the Holocaust. The word genocide was coined in order to describe these events. The starting date of the genocide is conventionally held to be April 24, 1915, the day when Ottoman authorities arrested some 250 Armenian intellectuals and community leaders in Constantinople.Thereafter, the Ottoman military uprooted Armenians from their homes and forced them to march for hundreds of miles, depriving them of food and water, to the desert of what is now ...

Gott wirkt auch heute noch Wunder - God still do miracles
49Und Jesus stand still und ließ ihn rufen. Mark 10:46 Then they came to Jericho. As Jesus and his disciples, together with a large crowd, were ! leaving the city, a blind man, Bartimaeus (which means "son of Timaeus"), was sitting by the roadside begging. 47 When he heard that it was Jesus of Nazareth, he began to shout, "Jesus, Son of David, have mercy on me!" 48 Many rebuked him and told him to be quiet, but he shouted all the more, "Son of David, have mercy on me!" 49 Jesus stopped and said, "Call him." So they called to the blind man, "Cheer up! On your feet! He's calling you." 50 Throwing his cloak aside, he jumped to his feet and came to Jesus. 51 ...
